After weeks of searching for James Mcavoy’s counterpart in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming X-Men: First Class, Fox just might have their man.
Deadline is reporting that German-born Michael Fassbender has been offered the role of Magneto. Whether or not he’ll accept the role is up for debate as Fassbender is being courted for a role in the Spider-Man reboot from Sony.
Vaughn’s X-Men is slated to begin production this August for a June 3, 2011 release.
