E310: Simply the Meh-st, or Stuff We Saw That We’re Skeptical About

Every year, the Electronics Entertainment Expo becomes the epicenter for all things video game. With new services, new consoles and new games announced by the boatload, E3 holds tons of dizzying highs for gaming enthusiasts. In fact, we wrote about a few. What sometimes gets lost in all the buzz, though, is all the worrisome evidence that things may not be as awesome as we’ve been led to believe. Some of what Peter Ha and I encountered last week set off our skepticism sensors, even though much of what’s shown at E3 is work-in-progress. What follows is a list of things that either rankled, mystified or outright annoyed us during this year’s visit to Video Game Mecca.
