A hard drive, really? I know hard drives aren’t the sexiest things in the world to read about, but I swear that this one is. When a press release for 3.5-inch 3TB external drive that costs $250 pops up in your e-mail, you take notice.

Seagate’s FreeAgent GoFlex Desk (WTF is up with that name?) drive is the world’s first 3TB external drive also comes with a USB 2.0 adapter that bumps it up to USB 3.0 or FireWire 800. Again, this 3TB external drive can be had for a mere $250.

Press release after the jump.
