Consider it a marriage made in gimmick heaven: The Black Eyed Peas are, apparently, going to make a tour movie with Avatar‘s James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D. Peas punctuation-heavy frontman Will.I.Am told MTV,
Right now, we are planning our 3-D tour movie, and James Cameron is directing it. We have the biggest director, because we are the biggest group on the planet. The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theater with the 3-D glasses and everything… It’s a full-length film, and it’s based around our tour activities.
According to Mr. I.Am, the movie will have a “dope” storyline, and all I can do is pray that (a) this isn’t some clearly empty hype from a delusional popstar that’ll quickly get denied by Cameron, and (b) that the movie will be an extension of this video:
