Today’s educational outburst of crazy was brought to you by the artist (and perhaps formerly relevant to boot) Prince. “The Internet’s like MTV,” he told the UK’s Daily Mirror. “At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”
Well, there we have it. I feel it’s only fair to mention that Prince has quite a beef with the Internet, seeing as he’s not making money selling his music via iTunes or other digital music stores. He’s actually banned YouTube or iTunes from using any of the new music from his upcoming album 20Ten.
Does Prince’s superior philosophizing make a point, or, is he plunging even farther from reality?
