You know, for all the noise and hoopla around this, I haven’t had this diminished reception issue with my iPhone 4 and neither have my 2 friends who have it. I even tried to force it to happen using the “death grip” and couldn’t get it to drop. So pardon my skepticism around this. We’ve actually found we have improved reception with our iP4s, and pretty much love ‘em. But I guess that’s what makes horse races, eh?

More often than not, when I buy an Apple product, it goes right back to the store because it broke, especially lately. My laptop battery burnt out, and I figured I was screwed because I was out of warranty. Well guess what? They recalled the batteries for being faulty! Only where was my notification? They had my address and my name, and I even had a .mac account. After having a broken laptop for about 2 years, I stumbled upon the recall notice that was sent out a while back. Sorry wasn’t sent out, it was posted somewhere where no one would find it. This way Apple doesn’t have to buy you a new battery, you can buy your own! Luckily I didn’t, since I have a desktop too. Apple is out for a buck, just like everyone else. Their stuff is overpriced label slaps with nice packaging. I’ve always used Apples, so I probably will continue to do so, it’s just that I wish they’d focus more on quality and less on appearances. I always buy used stuff if I buy Apple products. They’ll get no more of my money.
