Twilight 4 Promises To Bring The Ick Factor, Minus Just Too Much Ick

In an interview with Popsugar, Twilight: Breaking Dawn screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg elaborated on what to expect during that seriously disturbing vampire baby birthing scene that occurs just before the halfway point of Stephanie Meyer’s Breaking Dawn. “The childbirth — all the scenes, I feel — should be on screen,” she told Popsugar. “I think perhaps what I was referring to was, would we actually see Edward’s teeth through the placenta? I don’t think so. I don’t think we need to see that, and if someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that. I believe it will be implied, but I don’t think we’ll see teeth in the placenta.”

No teeth in the placenta. Check. (Can’t believe I just wrote that out.) I also have absolutely nothing else to add, aside from a hearty, “Ick.”
