Announced earlier today, Oregon-based Brammo revealed a street fighter-like all-electric sportbike. The Empulse will come in three models with varying range of distance per charge. The Empulse 6.0 is capable of going 60 miles per charge, while the 8.0 and 10 will be able to go 80 and 100 miles, respectively. Depending on how fast one goes mileage will vary.

The latest line is a drastic change from the original Enertia that was announced last year. Powered by a Lithium iron phosphate battery, the 13HP Enertia managed to top out at just under 60MPH with a total travel range anywhere from 20-40+ miles per charge. The trio of Empulse models are powered by a 55HP (59lb-ft of torque) motor that pushes the 390lbs bike upwards of 100MPH.

The company also competed and tested an all-electric sportbike variant of the Enertia dubbed Enertia TTR at the Isle of Man TTXGP last June finishing third overall with a top speed of 102MPH.

Depending on the state you live in, Federal and State incentives can knock the price of the Empulse 10.0 down $7,000 from $13,995. The 8.0 and 6.0 will be priced at $11,995 and $9,995, respectively. But they won’t be out until mid-2011.
