What X-Villain Will Kevin Bacon Play In First Class?

So, it’s official: Kevin Bacon will be the bad guy in Fox’s mutant reboot, X-Men: First Class. But what bad guy will he be? Fox are keeping things remarkably secret right now, which is probably either a sign that it’ll blow our minds, it’ll be someone so ridiculously lame that we won’t care, or it hasn’t been decided yet (My money’s on the latter). Fans have already glommed onto the possibility of Bacon playing Mister Sinister, the ridiculously-named long-lived geneticist whose comic incarnation has taken a particular interest in Scott (Cyclops) Summers throughout his entire life, and I admit, I can see a resemblance (It’s the cheekbones) -

- but there’s another villain that I’m holding out hope for: Apocalypse. Yes, Apocalypse, the centuries-old Egyptian mutant who was into Social Darwinism long before there was a Darwin, and the bad guy responsible for turning Angel blue, bald and with razor-sharp metal wings. He may not be the first choice for most, but he’s powerful enough, has enough of an evolutionary agenda to cause trouble for the teenage X-Men without any provocation, and come on: Look at that mouth! Bacon was born to play this role.

Mr. Sinister would be a good villain, abducting and experimenting on young mutants, and then dividing Professor X and Magneto to on how to stop such a thing to happen again. They could also do Shadow King, reinterpreting how Professor X gets paralyzed, unless he’s already paralyzed in this one.

Whoever posted this does not know actually what this film is about, I’m not talking about the plot or characters but the fact that the post says “So, it’s official: Kevin Bacon will be the bad guy in Fox’s mutant reboot” This movie isn’t a reboot!!!!! It’s a prequel to the original movies!!!!!!! OMG who told you it’s a reboot!!?!
