To coincide with the upcoming release of Red Faction Armageddon, videogame maker THQ and Syfy have teamed up for a screen adaptation of the franchise. Red Faction: Origins, a two-hour film set to air in March 2011, is set sometime between the events of Red Faction Guerilla and Red Faction. Written by Andrew Kreisberg (Warehouse 13) and developed by THQ’sPaul DeMeo, the story will focus on Alec Mason and the rest of the Mason clan.
