do you know how HYPED i am for this film. I feel the same with “tereglith” and I completely love the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland. The beauty and simplicity yet ornate quality is just simply breathtaking. And as so the actual attraction…I LOVE EVERY moment of it, from start to end. To me it has a very grand and upper class feel with a mix of dark humor. I like things classy :D anyway I hope that del Toro will keep it classy and timeless so it will be immoral embodiment of that e ticket attraction.

Haunted Mansion is about my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom, but it simply won’t work as a movie. The whole point is to be fully immersed in this creepy imagery constantly wondering how they did it because you can actually see it without a camera and a projector in between you. It doesn’t need a story other than those implied by the vignettes you go through, but it does need to be real, right there in front of you. The largest Pepper’s Ghost illusion in the world is awesome. Another 3D effect on a screen is not.
