The tenth (and final) season of The CW’s Smallville debuts in late September, and with the first trailer comes our first visual affirmation that Clark Kent is finally connecting those superhero dots. When the network announced it would bring Smallville’s run to an end, so came the out pour of speculation that Clark would assume his identity as that man in tights and and a red cape. The clip seems to offer us a nice, little “Yes!” – though it’s more cheeky hint, than blunt confirmation. Watch the video for a scene of Tom Welling as Clark Kent peering into a black box, a glow of red, yellow and blue reflecting in his eyes. It’s the Eureak! moment we’ve all been waiting for.
