Apparently CBS is in talks with Hulu to feature its shows on the new $9.99 per month premium Hulu Plus plan. Said CBS CEO Les Moonves,
“Are we having discussions with the Hulu subscription service? Yes we are. Our goal is to get paid for our content in as many different ways as we can without hurting the mother ship. The key here is flexibility.”
The deal would cement CBS as the last major network to offer its shows through Hulu, though it looks like the ability to watch recent CBS shows without shelling out $10 per month isn’t looking too promising. Currently, the free version of Hulu generally gives viewers access to the last five episodes of a particular show while Hulu Plus grants access to entire past seasons.
