Now, this is the kind of stunt-casting I can get behind: V‘s original evil matriarch Jane Badler is set to return to the alien invasion series in its new version – as the mother of her modernized incarnation, Morena Baccarin.
According to The Wrap, Badler will make her debut as Diana’s mother in the second season premiere; she’ll play an important role as Diana struggles to come to terms with her discovery of emotions and increasingly difficult relationship with her own daughter, according to the show’s makers. Me, I’m hoping that this means that Robert Englund may appear before too long.
