Like every other Star Wars nerd, I was giddy as could be when George Lucas announced that the Blu-ray boxset of all six films would include deleted scenes from the Lucasfilm archives. Luke Sykwalker himself presented the following to whet our appetites until the fall of next year. But the Geeks of Doom dug up the following video of an interview with Mark Hamill from Comic-Con ’09. According to Hamill, he never shot a scene in a cave where he’s building his green lightsaber. He does, however, have a pretty good explanation about where the scene came from.
