Sony Addresses iPhone In Latest PSP Ad

Having been to things like E3 and GDC, I’ve poked and prodded Nintendo and Sony about Apple’s move into the mobile gaming space. Neither party has provided a worthwhile quote on the subject. But Sony has directly targeted the mobile platform in its latest PSP ad. According to Marcus, the iPhone wasn’t built for “big boy games”. The ads are hysterical, sure, but Sony still needs to address the elephant in the corner – games for the PSP aren’t very good. Am I right?

No, you’re totally wrong. Grand Theft Auto (LCS, VCS, Chinatown Wars), Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Loco Roco, God of War: Chains of Olympus (and soon Ghost of Sparta), Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, MLB 10 The Show, Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake, Gran Turismo, and Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 are just some great PSP games that I can think of off the top of my head. And there is no way they could be on any other portable platform.
