Nikon’s update to the original projector camera, the S1000pj, is 40 percent better than the original. The S1100pj boasts a 14.1-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, 17 scene modes, 5-way image stabilization, ISO up to 6400 and 720p video recording.
The built-in 14-lumen projector is 40 percent brighter than its predecessor and can be hooked up to your laptop or computer in a pinch if your big boy projector crashes unexpectedly.
Look for the S100pj sometime next month for $350.
