There’s an Android App That Replies To Texts While You Drive

Texting while driving is frowned upon or illegal in most states. And ‘don’t text while you’re driving’ apps have come before, but State Farm’s recently updated Pocket Agent app for Android is a little different then those who’ve come before it. The On the Move widget within the app automagically replies to texts while you’re driving and can be customized to your tastes.

You’ll have to launch the app before heading out, though. You can also use the app when you’re about to go into a meeting, grabbing dinner or watching a movie. It’s pretty versatile and you don’t have to be a driver to use the thing. It’s free, too.

Press release after the jump.
