Rumor: New Apple TV to Have Netflix Streaming, 99-Cent TV Rentals

The validity of Bloomberg’s sources is questionable after the reputed outlet announced that Apple would be holding a special event on 9/7, a day before Apple made an announcement that its event would be held on 9/1, but I digress.

Bloomberg’s sources today suggest that Apple will announce a revamped Apple TV that will retail for $99 (which we’ve heard about numerous times) and integrated Netflix streaming. Let’s see how that pans out, Bloomberg.

The WSJ is once again reporting that Apple will indeed offer 99-cent TV rentals from News Corp.’s Fox and Disney networks. The Journal, however, makes no mention of a new $99 Apple TV.
