This is almost what I want, but 7″ is too small, 9-10 is the tablet sweet spot. I’m worried that the delay in the US is because of the 3G radio and they’re trying to get a carrier deal. I also wish they were making a wi-fi only model (I already have 3G/4G connectivity, I don’t need another service plan/contract).

I don’t know why everyone keeps talking about a “Mini-iPad” with 7″ screen or why they like the idea of this smaller-than-iPad Galaxy Tab. If I want a tiny screen and a unit that will fit in my pocket I’ll use my smartphone. In a tablet I want a bigger screen – even bigger than an iPad – for watching movies, gaming, or actually doing something productive. A 12″ screen might be the perfect size. Small enough to carry, large enough to actually watch a movie on. But smaller? No way.
