EA Sports’ latest hockey-based offerings are available in North America today: NHL 11 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and NHL Slapshot for the Wii.
NHL Slapshot joins 2K’s NHL 2K11, which was released late last month for the Wii. Sadly, it appears that PC owners may never again see an NHL title from either EA Sports or 2K, as yet another year has come and gone with no PC hockey games to be found.
The latest version of NHL 11 brings broken sticks, real-time physics, and a new face-off system, while NHL Slapshot makes its debut on the Wii and sports a hockey stick accessory that houses your Wii remote and nunchuck.
Both games are available for $60.
