What is The Event? NBC are keeping a tight lid on the precise details, but it may involve a science fictional event that might be related to aliens in some way, if rumors are to be believed. The pilot has made a lot of people very excited, so here’s hoping that the series lives up to those “The New Lost” compliments.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS)
They’ve ditched the techno version of the theme tune, but I’m still not on the bus… uh, boat, I guess, about the need for this remake, Battlestar Galactica‘s Grace Park and Lost‘s Daniel Dae Kim or not. Still, it inspired Matt Fraction’s AquaCop tweets, so it has something going for it.
