It’s taken two years, but British zombie mini-series Dead Set is finally about to make its US premiere, being broadcast nightly on IFC from Oct. 25th through Oct. 29th, with a marathon of the entire series on Hallowe’en. The series, a horror/satire which takes place inside the house and production offices for the British version of Big Brother as zombies overtake the UK, has been called “One of the ten best things I saw on TV” by Stephen King and “[heralding] the arrival of genuine homegrown horror, scratching at the fringes of network television” by Simon Pegg. We’d rather call it “The best zombies you’ll see all year.”
Dead Set begins at midnight on Oct. 25th.
