The gossip you heard analyzed, confirmed or dispelled

Sandra Bullock Will Not Be Going Into Space

Despite reports to the contrary, Techland has confirmed that Sandra Bullock is not second in the list to do Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity. In fact, she’s not even considering the role at all.

“it’s not true,” her rep said to Techland today.

People: Stop guessing who is going to be in Gravity if you don’t know. First, it was Angelina Jolie. Then, people said Natalie Portman, which her rep told us was very premature. Now, it’s Bullock, who isn’t even up for the role. We will find out when we find out.

Jovovich Tweets About Resident Evil 5, Yet Studio Has No Comment

Milla Jovovich has been twittering all day and taking suggestions about a fifth installment of the Resident Evil series. But, the studio Sony Entertainment has no comment whether they are on board or not.

Techland reached out to Sony Entertainment, who had no comment as of publication time. We don’t see why they wouldn’t make another movie – seeing that Resident Evil: Apocalypse 3D has had the biggest opening of all four films with $27.7 million – but you never know. It’s probably too soon to tell: The movie hasn’t even been out for a week.

“Thank you all so much 4 all your grt comments on the film! I’m SO happy u all love it!Hve fun watching #RE4 this weekend! Let’s do RE5 soon!” Jovovich tweeted.

She also spoke to New York Magazine at the Mercedes-Benz Tea Party in New York City, saying she and her husband director Paul W.S. Anderson are ready for the next chapter, adding they are definitely going to make another one. “We’ve been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it’s probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It’s going to be a more interactive process,” she said.
