Paramount Plans To Make Movies Deadliest

Of all the television series on the air right now, it’s actually somewhat surprising that it’s taken this long for someone to realize that the most deserving of a movie version might be Spike’s Deadliest Warrior. Paramount Pictures is teaming with Night At The Museum director Shawn Levy’s production company 21 Laps to bring the “What If History’s Greatest Fighters Fought?” series to the big screen, with what I can only hope will be a time-travel conceit replacing the CGI Recreations and Expert Opinions of the original. Let’s face it: If a movie that pits the toughest men in the history of the world against each other in no-holds-barred combat can’t succeed, then the success of The Expendables has taught us nothing.
