Sci-Fi Sexy Time: All-Time Hottest Clones

Sometimes there’s something a little kinky about the abnormal – about the perverse. How else to explain our fixation with all things vampires, werewolves and aliens? With “Never Let Me Go” arriving in theaters this week – based on the acclaimed Kazuo Ishiguro tale of lab-grown humans isolated from society, created with the sole purpose of providing organs for the rest of us – clones are now back in vogue too. And when you cast the likes of Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan to play the two top clones – alongside Andrew Garfield, the new Spider-Man himself – it’s clear that the filmmakers are aiming to add a little sexy to the genetic freakshow.

Then again, this isn’t the first time that clones have gone titillating – there’s a long and storied history of alluring, lifelike freaks. Of cuddly, captivating carbon copies. Techland pays homage to those most alluring duplicates – the clones that makes us swoon as if it’s the real thing.

    Are you intentionally avoiding the two most glaring examples of sexy clones in the last decade: Grace Park as Eight/Sharon “Athena” Agathon, and Tricia Helfer as Six/Caprica? Or do they not count because they’re technically robots? Because I have to say, they’re definitely alive if they can have kids.
