I admit, I was skeptical about the idea of a big budget Voltron: Defender Of The Universe movie, if only because I felt that Michael Bay’s Transformers scratched my giant robot itch as much as seemed necessary and, being British, I don’t remember the cartoon from when I was growing up, so the entire concept still seems a little goofy to me. But it has to be said: these promotional images (which showed up online via JoBlo) by concept artist Andree Wallin are pretty damn impressive. If the movie itself looks this good, I might end up in line on opening day after all.
