It looks like the best part of Lost might live on, after all. After months of what seemed like teases and jokes, it turns out that Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn’s dream of co-starring in an all-new television series might actually happen. New York Magazine’s Vulture blog is reporting that JJ Abrams and Bad Robot cohorts Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec (whom, amongst other things, have just written the new Mission: Impossible movie) are pitching a new show to networks that would see the former Ben and Locke reteam as former black-ops agents. The series – currently titled Odd Jobs – will apparently “have a dose of humor,” according to the report, which seems only fitting considering the two actors’ relationship in Lost. Note to networks: Buy this series and then have guest-stars from Lost every sweeps period. That’ll keep the show going for at least a couple of years.
