Bus Driver Caught Reading Kindle On the Job

Oregon seems to be in the news quite a bit lately. You have careless or inept hunters shooting down Google’s aerial fiber links forcing repairmen to cross country ski for three days to repair the damage done in the Dalles. And now there’s video of a TriMet bus driver reading his Kindle while driving on I-5!

40-year-old Lahcen Qouchbane was caught on camera last Thursday reading his Kindle through the Terwilliger Curves while en route to downtown Portland from Bridgeport Village. TriMet has since placed him on paid administrative leave.
