By “chronologically ordered”, do you mean ILlogically ordered, which is what they’ve always done heretofore, with newest e-mails coming 1st, and earlier e-mails coming later, so you get to see the responses before you see what they’re responding to?

Or is it truly LOGICAL ordering, with oldest 1st — you know, the way we actually READ stuff?

“Chronological order” could mean either oldest to newest (which it SHOULD be) or the reverse.

When I first started using GMail, I hated conversation view. It was incredibly inefficient, having to save or delete all messages in a conversation, being forced into this odd grouping. Now, after years of getting used to it, I’ve grown to hate it even more. Good riddance, and thanks to GMail for taking off the handcuffs.
