The Old Spice Guy Channels Luke Cage

Look at him, now look at this short film by Marvel. Now the Old Spice Guy, Isaiah Mustafa, has turned into Luke Cage.

Now look back here. We think he looks like Luke Cage, and he also gives Power Man a new awesome power: vocal persuasion. He’s also a huge comic book geek, and named his daughter Hayley after Hayley Fitzpatrick, better known as Harley Quinn. Give this guy a role in The Avengers movie!

I have to say, I never thought much of Luke Cage. He always seemed like the “Oh, we need a black guy” guy.

So it’s telling that I REALLY want OSG to be Luke Cage in the Avengers movie.

What’s wrong with me? I’ve watched this 5 times now! All I have left to say is that Marvel just did more with OSG in 30 seconds than they did all episode with him when he was on Chuck.

I’ve read before that he really wants to play Luke Cage, and I think it would be AWESOME! I love to see nerds grow up to play emulate their nerd heroes, and this guy can do Cage like no one else. I hope they do something with this.

i agree that video was pretty funny it could be nice to see him play luke cage but i never thought of him as a avenger i never even knew about him till i got marvel ultimate alliance i had my team be human torch wolverine
luke cage and iron man he was a good charector to play has wasnt as fun as wolverine or the human torch but still fun and i was hoping the avengers would be iron man hulk wasp thor and maybe ant man not to big a fan or captain america or spiderman to me there super powers suck they dont seem as good as the other heros but it may be interesting to see luke cage in the movie esspecially if its as funny as the you tube video up top as long as hulk and iron man are still in the avengers
