ABC’s No Ordinary Family To Make It To A Full Season?

Apparently, cheap holidays can still be found in other people’s misery. Deadline Hollywood is reporting that ABC’s new superpowered soap No Ordinary Family has received an order for four additional scripts, the only new fall drama from the network to do so. As the site notes, Family‘s success should be seen in the context of the relative failure of the network’s other hourlong dramas, but the new script order suggests that the show will get a full season pickup before too long. If only Heroes had been on a network surrounded by failures, maybe it would still be on the air – Oh, wait. Never mind.

(Of course, that math has worked in favor of NBC’s Chuck, which is now rumored to get its own additional episode order for its fourth season any time now.)
