Are Lost Producers Bringing Vertigo’s Fables To TV?

I can’t quite tell if this means that the current Fairy Tale fad (Disney’s Alice In Wonderland, as well as upcoming movies based on Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel and others) has jumped the shark or not, but Entertainment Weekly is reporting that former Lost executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have re-teamed with Damon Lindelof to develop what’s being called “a fairy-tale-themed drama series” for ABC. No details are available yet, but some are already wondering whether this means that ABC’s mooted television version of DC/Vertigo’s Fables (greenlit back in 2008, announced dead by Fables creator Bill Willingham earlier this year) is back on, and under Kitsis and Horowitz’ control. According to EW, ABC will hear the pitch for the series soon, so expect an announcement before the end of the year…
