Colin Farrell To Head Total Recall Remake?

Colin Farrell may be the new Arnold Schwarzenegger. Admittedly, you might not think it to look at him, but the actor is apparently the frontrunner to play the lead in Len Wiseman’s remake of Total Recall, which was itself a (somewhat loose) adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale.” Other contenders, according to the Hollywood Reporter, include Inception‘s Tom Hardy and Inglorious Basterds‘ Michael Fassbender, which suggests that Wiseman will be sticking with his Underworld series school of directing: Get good actors and surround them with ridiculous special effects and an unbelievable plot.
