I rented the game the day it came out and got stuck in the part where you have to fight the huge rancor-beast-whatever. That part alone broke my illusions. I was having fun until that part. I probably would have finished the game If I'd gotten past that thing. I really liked the first one, and was hoping for a great sequel, but alas, no luck.

I couldn't agree more. I loved the first game. Loved it. It was perfect. I didn't get any glitches on PS3 with the first one.

It took me about a week of steady, FUN playing to beat the first one. I'm on the second to last level and invested about four hours into the game at this point. Frankly, I'm disgusted, and feel cheated out of $60. The lack of a story - I never thought I'd complain about a story in a video game, but after the first one, I found myself surprised I cared - is glaring. The first one had a bunch of arcs to it, with the dark side, redemption, etc. This one has nothing. The characters from the first one are barely in it, and General Kota seems to have developed a southern accent since we last saw him.

On top of that, the game is too easy, the level sets are just repeats of the same rooms strung together, and nothing comes across as epic. I didn't ONCE toss a storm trooper out a window into space, when that was my favorite aspect of the first one. I was never presented with the option in this game, because the level layout and design was so poor. There were no random droids scurrying around the room to play with.

I could go on, but if you're reading this and were a fan of the first one, do yourself a favor and replay that. Don't pay $60 for this quarter of a game.
