Normally midterm elections wouldn’t be a big deal, but it’s a big day for Californians due to Prop 19. The proposition would legalize marijuana and allow the government to tax the substance as well as decriminalize possession of small amounts in order to focus on more violent criminals. It has divided many across the country, and whether you believe weed should be legalized or think smoking a joint is a crime, the results of the election are definitely something that people are keeping their eyes on.
