You can explore virtual boutiques created by movers and shakers within the fashion industry, but the real draw lies in the six-step customization process that lets you create your own shop-able boutique. (More on Techland: Google Voice Back on the iPhone)
The “Stylyzer” (shown above) pits two celebrity photographs against one another and has you choose which one you like better. Repeat that process 30 times and move on to steps two through five, which let you select your “loves & hates” for dresses, tops, bottoms, and shoes. Each subcategory lets you choose from silhouettes, colors, patterns, and more.
And finally, you round things out by choosing which designers you love and hate. The end result is a collection of items based on your specific tastes. There’s an iPad app, too, which lets you do most of this stuff from the couch.

While the six-step drill down functionality may work well currently, a men’s version of Boutiques.com should feature questions and answers such as:
“Do you like these pants?”
“What do you mean?”
I don’t know. They’re okay, I guess.
“You don’t like them?”
No, I do. They’re okay.
“So you do like them?
I guess. They’re okay.
“What do you like about them?”
I don’t know. They’re okay. How much do they cost?
“Forget the price. You need nice pants. Do you like them or not?”
