Soon you can be an omnipotent being on Facebook. Pocket God is coming to Facebook courtesy of Frima Studios, a Quebec-based developer. The iOS game had remained on the iTunes App Store Top 100, but now it’s ready to take on the social media realm.

The episodic game has you playing God as you control the lives of primitive islanders. You can strike them with lightning or give them gifts to spoil them. The newest update plays off the double rainbow viral video, where your little folk freak out when the “phenomenon” appears in the sky. The Facebook version allows for multi-player actions. You and a friend can lead your islanders to a happy life of fishing in the sea or fling them into the ocean. Closed beta testing for Pocket God on Facebook will begin on November 30, according to Mashable.
