As the college football season draws to a close, we find ourselves in the calm before the storm known as the Bowl Championship Series (BCS). You can stay up to date with everything that’s going on with ESPN Bowl Bound, available for free on iPhone and Android devices.

Aside from the five BCS games to be played in early January, there’s a whole string of other bowls taking place over the coming weeks, each name more whimsical than the one before it.

The Beef ‘O’ Brady’s St. Petersburg Bowl? You bet. The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl? Sounds a little wordy, but okay. The Little Caesars Pizza Bowl? Yum. Even GoDaddy.com has its own bowl game.

They’re all here complete with news, highlights and analysis from ESPN. Both apps are free, but the iPhone version can be upgraded for $3 to include extra video features, alerts and on-site interviews.

Check out the iPhone version here and the Android version here.
