Welcome to the Loadout. Our philosophy is that the working week is a recurring boss battle that you’ll need the proper weapons to take down. The supplies at hand won’t always be pretty but you might just be able to hold out until the weekend. Green means add it to your arsenal, yellow leaves it up to your discretion and red means back away slowly. With that, let’s see what we’ve got this week:

The Game: Infinity Blade

Specifications: A prototype of this game debuted as Epic Citadel a few months back but nothing prepared players for the full awesome of Infnity Blade. You control a series of crusading knights who try to depose the evil God King in a medieval fantasy world, facing off in sword battles against increasingly tougher henchmen.

Ideal Usage Scenario: With some of the most stunning graphics on any iOS game, Infinity Blade combines tense turn-based combat with old-school RPG loot hoarding for an addictive mix. Get it and be amazed.

The Game: World of Goo

Specifications: The lovable indie hit that charmed everyone  who played it conquers another platform when it comes to iPad this week. You need to safely shepherd cute globs of goo through hazard-filled levels with puzzles

Ideal Usage Scenario: What other games let you use all ten fingers in the name of such cute, clever gameplay? More than that, the touch controls feel intuitive and sharp, making it so that World of Goo plays perfectly on iPad.
