Avowed video game enthusiast and nighttime talk show host Jimmy Fallon gave some love to Naughty Dog’s next action epic in the wee hours of Tuesday morning on NBC’s “Late Night.”

The clip showed Nathan Drake and the lovable cigar-chomping Sully trying to escape a burning building besieged by bad guys. Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra from the Santa Monica dev studio played through a chunk of what seems to be one of  the game’s early levels. There seemed to be new technology at work that dynamically spreads fire throughout the environment. Aside from the glimpse of the next Uncharted game, it’s great to see developers getting recognition for their work in mainstream media outlets.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be out 11/1/11 exclusively for the Playstation 3.
