First, the bad news. According to the above photo from SlashGear, the Verizon iPhone’s mute switch has been moved ever so slightly out of line with where the mute switch is located on the AT&T iPhone. That means if you’re planning to switch from AT&T to Verizon, you’ll have to buy a new case or deal with a slightly askew mute button.

The good news is that numerous reports about people trying to recreate the famous “death grip” that plagued AT&T iPhones (read more here) haven’t worked on the Verizon iPhone. So if you prefer to carry your phone around au natural, you won’t have to use Scotch tape just to avoid dropping calls.
