Google Dropping Support for H.264 in Chrome

Google drops the widely-used H.264 video codec for its own WebM codec in the name of openness, yet builds Flash video support (not an open codec) into its Chrome browser. Good thing it owns YouTube, huh?
Microsoft Fights Apple Trademark on ‘App Store’

Microsoft—and presumably other companies that have or are building app stores—doesn’t want Apple to be able to trademark “App Store.” C’mon you guys, just come up with another name for your app stores. Like “Xtreme St0r3!” or “App Shack” or “Appothecary”.
Verizon Wireless & Apple Team Up to Deliver iPhone 4 on Verizon
