If you’ve been looking to get your NOVA fix on the go, you’re in luck.

Following up on the success of its free iPad app, which was unveiled in October, PBS is now offering a free iPhone app that streams full episodes. While the two apps are quite similar, the iPad does offer a slightly more extensive list of shows and episodes. Even so, the iPhone app allows you to stream the latest episodes of shows such as Frontline, NOVA, POV, Austin City Limits, Independent Lens, Antiques Roadshow, Nature and many more on your iPhone.

In addition to the free streaming, the app also allows users to share episodes on Facebook and Twitter, bookmark shows, access TV schedules and set reminders in iCal. And since this is public broadcasting, there is also the option of showing your gratitude with a donation or purchasing your favorite episode.

Looks like you’ll never be bored (or uninformed) again.
