“Walking Dead” To Become A Video Game?

in a recently issued press release, Telltale Games said that one of their five projects that will be released soon includes “one based on a just-launched property from the TV and comic book world whose popularity is changing life as some know it.” Hmm comic book based property and a very popular TV show? Could it be The Walking Dead?

Telltale Games will make the official announcement at on February 17 in San Francisco, Calif. at a press conference according to 1Up, but if one of the titles they reveal on that day is a multi-platform Walking Dead game, sign me up. (However, if it’s a Heroes game…) Not that we haven’t see a survival game in a post-Apocalyptic zombie world, but it would be cool to be able to live the story in three different versions. Would you play a Walking Dead game or are there too many zombie-based games out there for your liking?

If its realistic then I would love it, not that zombies are that realistic to begin with but some are more believable. Having it be a sandbox game add cars and online co-opish game-play and it would be amazing.

I’ve always wanted a good zombie-apocalypse RPG. One that spans from initial outbreak to rebuilding civilization. That used to sound like a tall order but the scope of modern RPGs has been getting larger and larger so I don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility.
