Sylvania 24-inch monitor: $149 at Walmart (today only)

Its size is its biggest selling point, as most of the other features—VGA-only input, 1000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness—leave a bit to be desired. It’d make a decent second monitor, though.

This one’s priced at $100 but features a $15 mail-in rebate if you’re willing to do a little paperwork and work on honing the ancient art of "patience" while you wait for the mail man to appear with your rebate check.

Lenovo IdeaPad 15.6-inch notebook: $479.99 at Office Depot

Asus 23-inch monitor: $132.99 at Buy.com
