No more e-mails from ‘friends’ (That’s Facebook talk for ‘spam’) that I have to waste time deleating. I’ve got my e-mail account, cell phone and land line. That’s alot better than ‘Facebook’ (don’t really worry about ‘security’, e-mail is just for mailings and www. searches. Don’t buy online nor bank so why worry about security) and I don’t have to delete ‘Friends’!

This security measure alerted me in a timely manner and I changed all passwords and ran security scan. This feature was quick and efficient and even though a hack was attempted in my account, it was avoided.

I got that photo-captcha thing nearly a year ago. I think they reported some attempt to login to my account from Texas or something (where I am not). They probably did lower the alert threshold yesterday.
It was a surprisingly neat way to authenticate you (although presumably, if your friend or co-worker is hacking your account, they may know those people too).

Have they done anything new to that system or is it the same one that was already in place? Oh, and if you create security questions, it’s possible to bypass this “social authentication test”.
