Yesterday, Twitter restored access to a few of UberMedia’s previously banned apps. UberSocial and Twidroyd for Blackberry were among two of UberMedia’s Twitter clients that were shut down Friday for policy violations.
“We’ve given the developers of twidroyd and UberSocial for Blackberry (formerly UberTwitter) access to the Twitter API again. Our initial review indicates that steps have been taken to remedy the violations for these applications,” Twitter said in a blog post. “When the developer updates twidroyd and Ubersocial, you’ll be able to download their updates to access Tweets again on these applications.”
Still no word on UberMedia’s iPhone app, which was also taken offline Friday.
