The race is officially on to squeeze in as many last-minute iPad 2 rumors into this week’s stream of technology news as possible. Apple will be unveiling the new iPad on Wednesday, which means a slow tech news week everywhere else until the actual announcement takes place.
Up on the docket today: a white bezel with a camera hole, and what first appeared to be a product shot of the iPad 2 but later turned out to be the work of an artistic Apple fan. Looks nice though, huh?
While the product shot has been explained away, the white bezel warrants inspection. The photo of the white frame apparently comes from “folks at the iFixYouri iPhone repair shop,” in China’s Shenzhen City, reports 9to5Mac.
So either the iPad 2 will be available in white, or a place specializing in taking apart Apple products is stocking custom-made white bezels in order to offer iPad customization services alongside repair services. Or both. Or neither!
