A Computer Not Designed for the Easily Distracted

A Taiwanese computer manufacturer has come up with the perfect solution to the age-old problem of computers lacking Lego-compatible cases: a case that’s built for Lego building.

The HELLO-Q machine has two USB ports on its front, and several dozen Lego-style studs for sticking Lego bricks on to. You and I both know which of these features is going to be used the most.

Of course, it’s not the first time that Lego and computers have met. A quick Google Images search for “Lego casemod” reveals many home-grown designs, most of them orders of magnitude more ambitious and impressive than HELLO-Q.

Then again, HELLO-Q provides all the Lego fun straight out of the box, and that’s one kind of magical that even Apple doesn’t aspire to. Not yet anyway.
